I got the new issue of Attitude which was a really good one this time. It had an interview with the stars of Telstar plus a review and an interview with the guy who plays Ianto. Torchwood is coming back soon for a 5 part special, I can't wait to see that. I do like Torchwood but it can be a bit hit and miss and I'm interested to see what it will ( Read more... )

I got the new issue of Nylon which was their music issue. It had a couple of good interviews with Brody Dalle and Patrick Wolf plus a short bit on Beth Jeans Houghton (singer/songwriter from Newcastle) and an article on the Glasgow music scene (I really want to visit Glasgow sometime, is that strange ( Read more... )

The new issue of scarlet had some OK stuff in it. Nice profile of Billie Holliday (I'd still love them to do one on Lydia Lunch) plus a little interview with Patrick Wolf where he said he got thrown out of a Madonna concert for kissing his boyfriend. I got the new issues of Q and Mojo. they both had articles on Island records (home to Grace Jones, Pulp, Marianne Faithfull and PJ Harvey at various points --- makes me think if I was a singer I'd love to be signed to someone like Island) and Manic Street Preachers. I got the new issue of iD, although it was a big thick issue the only thing that really appealed to me was the Patrick Wolf interview/photo shoot but even that was a bit too brief/not really saying anything that new.
